Fine textured evergreen sedge with blades maturing to a rich coppery orange. 1-2′ tall and wide. Somewhat short lived but may self seed. Average to moist soil with protection from cold winter winds. Water occasionally in summer. Deer avoid it. Do not cut it back – instead rake out the dead foliage.
