A bold evergreen shrub with large, leathery leaves. Grows to 8′-12′ high and wide. Small clusters of creamy white flowers bloom in May and are lightly fragrant. Prefers moist, well drained soil, but adapatable to many soils. Drought tolerant once established. Part shade to shade.
