Littleleaf Pussytoes

Antennaria microphylla

Found throughout Western North America, this incredibly tough mat-like evergreen groundcover sports soft, rosy flowers 6″ above grey-green foliage. The fluffy seed heads add late-season interest. Needs a well-drained soil, intolerant of over watering. Best in full sun. Exceptionally drought, heat, and deer resistant. Slowly spreads.
