Wear Flowers: Crowns and Floral Wearables for Everybody

Sat, August 19 | 10:00am - 12:00pm
Flower wear has long history in many cultures and is deeply intertwined with festivity and ritual. In this class you will craft your own floral wearables, feel empowered expressing your creativity while interacting with plants, learn which plant materials hold up out of water, and discover different techniques that make wearing plants easy, beautiful and joyful. No experience necessary. Participants must be comfortable using scissors (ages 10+)

Celeste Monke is the farmer founder behind Free Range Flowers. A former Cloud Mountain intern and incubator alum, she is focused on growing a wide variety of annuals, perennials and woody plants to spread love and lock down carbon. Celeste cofounded Free Range Flowers in 2016 and is all about hands in the dirt and hearts on sleeves. She is a plant nerd, facilitator of flow, and spreadsheet wizard working to spread joy through flowers.
