A selected form of vine maple with stunning coral spring color. Slower growing than seedling vine maples, it should reach 6′ in 10-15 years. Best with midday shade.

Acer circinatum, our native Vine Maple, is closely related to the Asian species that are called, as a group, Japanese Maples. These named forms of vine maple were selected for form and leaf interest, and like seedling vine maples, prefer sun to partial
shade and rich, well drained soils. With summer moisture, many forms can thrive in full sun in the maritime Pacific Northwest.
